More from our Elementary!
I was with my sister Crystal when we
saw that the bikers left and by the
time me and my brother stoled some grass (straw for the dogs)
from the
guy who didn't take the grass from behide the school and gave
some to
our dogs. Skipper was really happy and he tried to eat some. He
found
out it wasn't food but it was really soft. Lady was really happy
and she
went to bed right where she could lay on it. They were sleeping.

The first picture is the white dogs going to the post
office. They
always go the wrong way.
The Second to the last Musher
By: Krista, Freshman
Pedro Esteban Curuchet, from Argentina
was the second to the last musher who scratched. He couldn't speak
any English, only Spanish. So we got the Veteranarian John Clator,
to translate his words into English for the interview. I took
a Spanish class last year, so I kinda understood him. He also
likes Alaska very much , and that his wife is waiting for him
in Anchorage. He says where he comes from, Argentina, is very
similar to Alaska because it's cold both places. He drew us a
map of where he lives, he lives at the tip of Argentina, close
to the Antarctica. The reason why he scratched was that he didn't
have leader dogs, and that they wouldn't go.
While we were interviewing him, he
drew us a map of where he lived.
